The Student Council has been meeting weekly to discuss issues that matter most to students at Sancta Maria College. They are preparing to meet with the Senior Management Team soon to share these concerns and work together on meaningful solutions.
Earlier this term, council members took part in a training day with Gerry Watchorn from CEIST, which helped them set clear goals and priorities for the year ahead.
The Student Council members have also taken on specific roles to ensure everything runs smoothly:

Right now, the council is busy planning an exciting fundraiser for Junior students to support the school’s annual Food Drive. They are also brainstorming ideas for this year’s whole-school presentation, building on the success of last year’s Study Tips session and the Internet Safety talk the year before.
It’s shaping up to be another active and inspiring year for the Student Council as they continue to make a difference in school life!
