Student Council members attended the Ceist Conference in St Patrick’s College Campus in DCU on Wednesday April 19th.
When we arrived, we were delighted to be asked to welcome the Archbishop of Dublin, Dermot Farrell, to the Conference on behalf of all the schools attending.
We were one of only four schools chosen from 107 schools across the country to do a power point presentation on how Sancta Maria College reflects the Ceist core values.
The Student Voice teams chose to focus on Respect and Community and the resulting work was uplifting and heart-warming. Two students stood in front of an audience of more than 300 peers, teachers and members of Ceist and DCU and did us proud.
We had a great session meeting students from other schools and learning about their initiatives. As you can see from our photos, we had an amazing day and are so grateful for the experience.
A big thank you to Ms McCann, our Student Voice liaison teacher and to Ms McGinley who came with us today.
